Have you tried Spiced Orange Harvest? I love it! It makes my house smell yumm-O! If you like the smell of Hot Cider then you will love it too! If you don’t have it, get it! If you have it, BURN IT!

My kids love story time. Alot of times we will each pick out a book and sit down in the living room and read stories together. If we forget to read them a story before bed they are quick to remind us. Although, I think that sometimes it is an excuse for them to get out of bed and say “you forgot to read us a story”. The other day one of my kiddos asked me what my favorite story was. That got me thinking. So I thought I would share our favorite story books with you.

Hurry Hurry! I think it might end soon. I LOVE when Old Navy has great sales like these. It’s great to be able to stock up for next season at DIRT CHEAP prices, and also to get a few maybe Christmas items! I got this cute brown jacket for my little girly for $5! Seriously! And the cute little onesie I think for $1.99. Yeah! That’s like garage sale prices for cutebrandnewnicedidimentioncute stuff!
Better hurry though, it gets to be pretty slim pickins!

*note - of course you know you can shop online, and sometimes I find better deals there, even with the shipping, but this particular sale I found the items in the store were cheaper. For instance, this cute brown jacket online is $9.99. (plus youhave $7 shipping…) hmmm, better run to the store!

Are you sick of being sick?

I swear, if it is not Me or my Hubby, it is one of our Kiddos that are sick, were sick, or are getting sick!! It is just that time of year where between school and church we are bound to wind up with some kind of sickness that is being passed around.
Have you tried these?

I love them! I cant say that they make me free of my sickness, but they definately make me feel better. I will sometimes use them first thing in the morning and they open my sinuses and help get me out of the sickness grog/hangover.
All you do is open up one tablet and set it on your shower floor where the hot water can hit it. It will start to dissolve and you will feel the magic working.

Just thought I’d share a few tips on Essential Lemon Oil. I first learned about this when trying to find GREEN cleaning agents for my home. I’ve been slowly getting rid of anything and everything toxic in my home. Did you know the adding a few drops of essential lemon oil to water in a spray bottle is an awesome cleaner? Lemon is a natural antibacterial agent.

So…

1. Add 5-10 drops to water in spray bottle and use to clean any surfaces

2. Add 5-10 drops to water in spray bottle and spray around your home to antibacterialize it, and to make it smell fresh and clean.

3. Add 1 drop to a glass of water and drink it to help boost the immune system.

4. Add 3 drops to 3 teaspoons of distilled water to use as a skin brightener. Use a soft cotton ball to gently massage this mixture into the skin after cleansing.(make sure to follow with a moisterizer)

*Lemon oil is astringent and detoxifying and is therefore great for blemishes as well.

5. Lemon oil is uplifting and cleansing. It replaces negative emotions by creating a cheerful atmosphere of freshness and purity. It can help dispel mental fatigue and psychological heaviness. The aroma of lemon can inspire increased concentration and awareness

*When purchasing Essential oils, make sure they are pure. This website is the best I have found.

*Lemon oil is powerfully astringent and antiseptic. Because it can cause skin irritation if used by sensitive individuals in dilutions exceeding 5%, it should not be applied undiluted to skin. Five drops or less of lemon oil should be added to a teaspoon of a carrier oil, like coconut oil or olive oil.

I think my kids are addicted to THIS website!!!! It’s all they want to do, and who am I to tell them no!!!

It is a really fun interactive site for them to play games, learn the alphabet, and read/write stories. It is geared toward Pre-K thru 2nd graders. It shows them that learning can be fun. So when your kids say “I’m bored” this is a great solution to their bordom. Try it out!
